“Whoa!” everyone in our car exclaimed after looking at a upside-down car, on a road next to a hill, and halfway on top of a man. “I can’t believe it” I told myself. Then my dad came out of our black BMW, and stood right next to the upside-down car, and started to think of what to do.
We had just come from John F. Kennedy airport, going to our house in Long Island, thinking that it would be a peaceful car ride.
Fortunately, some men came along, and together, my dad and the men decided to lift the car together. So all of the men, except for one man, started to lift the car up with all their strength, while the other man pulled the injured man out. After all the lifting and pulling, my dad called the police and ambulance.
Soon we started to hear loud sirens getting louder and louder. Then we saw a white ambulance van and black police cars, and when they came close, they stopped their vehicles, and brought the man away to a hospital.
After seeing all that had happened, everyone was speechless, except for my toddler brother Nate who had been playing with his toy.
I couldn’t believe my eyes! I had just seen and upside-down car, some men lifting the car, and a man covered in blood.
By the time the injured man left, every person in their car that caught a glimpse of the upside-down car, would park right next to it, and mostly everyone came out of their transportation to chat with anyone who had been there earlier. All I could hear were things like, “Oh my Gosh!”, “What has happened here!” or “Was anyone hurt?!”.
But I was the only person frozen in my seat looking out of the window, thinking that it was just a dream, but it wasn't.
